Pi Gua (also Pigua) is a fighting style used by the ninja spectre Scorpion in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, then by Hotaru in Mortal Kombat: Deception and Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Pigua is a style usually incorporated in with Bajiquan. It is referred to as chopping fist or chopping palm, and is an aggressive and explosive style with bridging and attacks similar to Tong Bei. Attributed to Wu Zhong of the Hebei province of China. Translated, it means "armor wearing boxing" and is originally believed to be a subset of Tong Bei Quan (white ape).
