Skimmers are large, insectoid creatures that slither along the floor with surprising speed. Physically, a Skimmer resembles a huge silverfish, but it moves more like a snake. About four feet in length, this creature is low to the ground and difficult to shoot. Two huge pincers protrude from its head. Its exoskeleton is hard but not exceptionally tough. These creatures tend to travel in groups and swarm their prey as a pack.
