Like most Jedi of the era, Alaika was most likely discovered by the Jedi Order to be Force-sensitive taken to the Coruscant Jedi Temple for training in the ways of the Force. Entering into the academy, Alaika became part of a clan of several other Initiates as she attended classes and studied the arts of the Jedi. Approaching the end of her training the start of the Clone Wars, Alaika was away from Coruscant when she was almost abducted by Trandoshan slavers and rescued by Aayla Secura and brought back to the Coruscant Jedi Temple.
