Alfirin or Never-Fade was a flower used by healers to create a syrup that was said to promote vigor and robust health or could be applied to wounds to aid in healing and eliminating scars.At least two variants, one golden in colour, one white, were native to the Westlands.Golden Alfirin was native to gondor, among other places, in the fields of Lebennin. White Alfirin was known as Simbelmyne in Rohan, where it grew on the royal Barrows of Edoras and was used by the Rohirrim in funeral ceremonies.
