Headmaster Chris Markum ran the Redding Preparatory School, which counted among its students Donny Kendall, at least until "Hedge Fund Homeboys". He pointed Beckett and Castle in the direction of Donny's friends when news of the tragedy broke, and appeared to be a genuinely compassionate man, although he himself acknowledged that "these kids are icebergs", whilst explaining the limitations of the information which he could provide for the investigation.
