He never took part in any of the major wars because of the seclusion in his shamanistic training and was kept from most its struggle and events. Once Tul’gais decided it was time for Ruarc to finish the part of his tutelage that required him to stay near his master, he drugged the young orc. Ruarc awoke in a cart in south Durotar near the entrance to the Valley of Trials. There, he would begin his next phase of learning that would prepare him for his journeys to come.
