| abstract | - Morphio is a dream demon that only appeared in "Lazy's Nightmare", and "Sleepless Smurfs". He has a horse named Nightmare. In "Lazy's Nightmare", Morphio captured Lazy while he was sleeping. When Lazy told Morphio he missed the other smurfs, Morphio captures them too. Papa Smurf soon comes to their rescue through the Dreamworld and him, and Lazy rescue the others. In Sleepless Smurfs, Morphio had terrorized Gargamel, but when learning he is an enemy of the Smurfs, he remembered when the Smurfs foiled his earlier plans. Gargamel allies with Morphio by capturing the Sleepy Sheep, which causes incessant insomnia in Smurf Village. Papa Smurf, Snappy Smurfling, Lazy Smurf, Smurfette, and Wooly Smurf soon go to the Land of Nod to investigate, only to find Gargamel, whom they realize led the Sleepy Sheep to the Nightmare World. They brave returning to a horrible place, where they encounter Morphio. In the end, the smurfs lured Morphio out of the Dreamworld, and Morphio fell into a deep sleep. Now that the Sleepy Sheep were rescued, the Smurfs could finally get a good night's rest.
