rdfs:comment
  • This a List of Presidents of New York. The President of New York is the head of state and the head of government of New York. As chief of the executive branch and head of the federal government as a whole, the Presidency is the highest political official position in New York by influence and recognition, although he himself has minimal power. The President is also the Commander-in-Chief of the N.Y. armed forces. The President is elected through popular vote to a four year term in office. Currently there is no accepted or constitutional limit on the number of terms a president can have, although precedent dictates two or three terms per president.
