- Big Blue is a track in the Animal Crossing x Mario Kart DLC Pack for Mario Kart 8. The course originates from the game series F-Zero. This Course is the fourth and final track in the Super Bell Cup.
- In most F-Zero games, it has the appearance of a wide, open sea, with numerous rocks sticking out of the water, and very few buildings. In F-Zero GX, however, Big Blue underwent a significant change in appearance, and looked much more industrial than in the other games, with buildings, hotels, underwater tunnels, etc. found all over the circuits. The planet was strictly protected by the nature conservation group over a long time, but it was rumored that a new energy source laid down at the bottom of the seabed; investigation started right away, although no discoveries have yet been found.
- Big Blue is the First Chapter of the Coming Soon: Regents Walk comic series. It takes place through November, 1987, and its star is Ethan. We see him during his third month at Widow's Perch Elementary, in Mrs. Hambridge's class, when he has yet to make any real friends. However, after he finds out that he's going to be starring in an upcoming Thanksgiving play, he quickly discovers that he's being forced out of his shell.
- Big Blue wears a full-face helmet, like his friend Bueno. His outfit consists of a top and a pair of trousers, both in white with blue and black stripes on them.
- Big Blue is the final track of the Bell Cup in Mario Kart 8. It based on the F-Zero series, like Mute City. Like Mount Wario and N64 Rainbow Road, this course is not a three-lap course, but instead one long lap divided into three sections, making it the first and only DLC course for this to be the case. And, just like Mute City, this stage has no physical coins, but rather, Boost Pads on the sides. The staff ghost kart setup for this track is Mario riding a P-Wing, with Blue Standard tires and a Super Glider.
- Big Blue was thought to have been a relic Plesiosaur, and the only time it was seen (albeit briefly and in poor lighting) it did appear to have a long neck and small head.
- Big Blue is a large, overweight Zomberry and a minor antagonist on Zomberry Island.
- Big Blue is a fictional planet found in the F-Zero series that is mainly (about 99%) covered by water. The buildings and oftentimes F-Zero tracks have obviously been built above the water, though sometimes you'll see both the buildings and track go through underwater tunnels and what not. Because of the great difficulty of building anything on the planet, there are few buildings found. Still, it's beauty makes it a popular destination - Especially for F-Zero grand prix races.

Nun geht es wieder mit dem Gleiter durch einen Berg und dann wird kopfüber gefahren. Nach scharfen Kurven und einer Schikane folgt das Ziel.

Life can apparently be sustained underwater, as colossal fish can be swimming under there, even while racing in the transparent tunnels.
