The consultant advised the anxiously-awaiting Jamie Baldwin, Sean Tully, Eileen Grimshaw and Michelle Connor that Violet had suffered an ectopic pregnacy and although she would be okay, she had lost the baby. He later spoke to Violet explaining about the procedure that had been carried out and advised that as a result - although it was impossible to tell - that she risked the possibility of not being able to have any more children.
