| abstract | - Kadren Yage, colloquially known as "Old Sharp", was a human male born 43 BBY on the military world of Anaxes to the powerful Generational Yage clan. After graduating from the Republic Naval College at just sixteen years of age, he entered into a career as a military escort pilot in the capital of Pols Anaxes. His performance as a security pilot eventually garnered the attention of the Senate Bureau of Intelligence who subsequently employed him as an insertion/extraction pilot for their field agents. After his superiors determined that his talents were better suited for the military, he was transferred to Republic Intelligence, albeit not as a pilot but as a full-fledged agent. Unlike many other agents of his time, Yage would survive the transition from Republic to Imperial Intelligence, eventually occupying the position of Deputy Director of Intelligence in his capacity as the Director of Offensive and Pre-emptive Espionage. His designs on the title of Director would eventually bring him into conflict with Ysanne Isard, daughter of then-Director of Imperial Intelligence and his eventual love interest. Yage's affair with Ysanne resulted in a son, Moriwhuile.
