| abstract | - Dalin Lakur Haravl (b ? - d. 2375) served as the head of maintenance on the CUW Trager, reporting to the chief engineer, Glinn Jeval Topak. (Star Trek: Sigils and Unions: "The Thirteenth Order") Dalin Haravl's position relative to Topak's relies on the Sigils and Unions understanding of Cardassian rank in which the dalin reports to the glinn (who serves directly under a gul). When the gul of the Trager, Akellen Macet, rebelled against the Dominion, Dalin Haravl participated in the plan to trap and replace the ship's Vorta, Arawil. He was responsible for engineering the systems failure that forced Arawil to seek "relief" somewhere other than her quarters. It was speculated at the time that had the plan failed, Glinn Topak would have been executed and Haravl possibly promoted into his place. After seizing control of the ship, the Trager next attacked the Dominion cloning facility on Rondac III. During the battle, a torpedo struck where the backfin joined the main body of the ship, blowing through three decks. Sixty Cardassians, including Lakur Haravl, were killed in the single largest loss of life aboard the Trager. (Star Trek: Sigils and Unions "The Thirteenth Order")
