| abstract | - Katsuko was born the Main house of the Hyūga clan to Hiashi and Naoki, who at birth noticed she was gifted with the Byakugan. Being the daughter to the head of the main house did make her life easier, being well cared for and loved by her mother and father. She took interest in learning early on and was blooming into a genius. But being the heiress wasn't all that great. After the end of another conflict between Kumogakure and Konohagakure, one night, Katsuko was kidnapped by a head ninja from Kumogakure, who under the guise of striking a peace treaty with Konoha, had actually been sent there to steal the Byakugan. Her father killed the would-be kidnapper to save her, but Kumogakure demanded compensation in the form of Hiashi's dead body due to having signed a peace treaty with the village only moments before. This ultimately resulted in the death of Katsuko's uncle, Hizashi, who sacrificed himself in order to protect his clan and village. After this Katsuko wanted to prevent such a thing from ever happening again and started to work on her sense of hearing and sight. In her school years she has always done well, making good grades and was impressing her teachers with her great Chakra control, her quick learning of basic Ninjutsu and her exceptional skill at Taijutsu. Especially her skill with both the Gentle Fist Technique, and the use and control of her Byakugan. Now as school ticks away around the finale days of the Academy Katsuko wonders about her future to become a shinobi. But as the days comes and goes she passed with no trouble and now wonders what the future holds for her and her clan.
