| abstract | - Early life-Academy days: Karite is one of many Uchiha clansmen to have survived Root's attempted Purge of the Uchiha clan, which happened when he was around 5 years old. He survived, but unfortunately his parents did not and his younger brother Hirokazu was taken by Root. However, shortly after the events of the attempted massacre he met and befriended Sasuke and Shisui Uchiha and developed a brotherly bond with the both of them and vice versa, however, the topic of his brother remained a sore secret and one that he wouldn't even tell Sasuke, let alone Shisui Karite was extremely liked by the main Uchiha family...I.E. Sasuke's family as they felt remorse over his parents fate. The topic of his parents was a sore subject, understood by Sasuke and Shisui. When it was time for Karite to enrol in the academy, Karite was excited as his best friend Sasuke would be there too...however, another kid at the academy caught Karite's interest, a boy by the name of Naruto Uzumaki. Karite and Sasuke excelled in all fields within the academy and proved that the Uchiha's are not to be taken lightly. After class the two friends would always meet up at the playground where they would entertain themselves in various games with Shisui or at times Itachi. Though, one thing always bothered Karite and that was the Uzumaki boy. As for some reason, he felt that he could connect with him...and so one day he took the opportunity to do so. He followed Naruto to his favourite ramen shop and they bonded for a while, though it bothered Karite that Naruto was an orphan with no friends and only tormentors...so he took it upon himself to get to know the energetic blonde a bit more. When Naruto and Karite were walking together one night, a group of villagers attacked and got Naruto injured and angering the Uchiha who retaliated and got his friend outta there and to the Uchiha compound to his house to be treated of his wounds. And from that night on, Naruto and Karite shared a brotherly bond, just like how he did with Sasuke and Shisui. Although...not much could be said about Naruto and Sasuke's relationship with each other as although they did share a bond, it was...unstable to say the least. Sasuke had once asked Karite on how he could stand that annoyance, much less hang out with him...to which Karite replied "It's an orphan thing...". Sasuke had gotten the hint and left the topic behind, never returning to it ever. Sasuke had tried bonding with Naruto on occasion, only to make their bond even stronger than ever. When it was time to become Genin, Karite and Sasuke passed with flying colours, impressing Shisui and Sasuke's parents who had come to think as Karite as one of their own. Naruto however didn't make it....though Karite tried to cheer him up they were approached by Mizuki who told Naruto about an extra exam, which made Karite suspicious. Eventually his suspicions were confirmed later that night, when the alarm was sounded and everyone was informed that the forbidden scroll was stolen by Naruto Uzumaki...though Karite knew better and teamed up with Iruka explaining everything on the way. They eventually found Naruto and confronted Mizuki, it was at this time when Karite saw his teacher wounded and his best-friend broken...he had awaken his Sharingan at it's two tomoe state. He and Naruto fought Mizuki all night and the result was Naruto graduating to become a fully fledged Genin. Though that night had left open wounds, he did however leave the training ground where the battle took place with an even strong bond with Naruto. When he returned to the compound he found that Sasuke's parents along with Sasuke and Shisui had been sick worried as they'd looked everywhere for him. It was at this time at Fugaku noted that Karite's sharingan had been awakened and inquired about it, to which Karite recalled the events of yesterday night. Seeing as it was time, Fugaku led Karite down to the basement of his home and handed him a scroll explaining to him that within that scroll held his family legacy...however, he had to promise Fugaku that he'd NEVER open it unless his life depended upon it. A promise that Karite said that he would keep. Genin life: Karite was assigned to team 7 along with his brothers Sasuke and Naruto. After hours of waiting for their Jounin sensei, Karite found Naruto trying to set up a prank to get back at their Sensei and Karite, to Naruto's surprise, helped out as he thought that doing it was better than doing nothing at all. Sasuke was very tempted but ultimately resolved not to, as he didn't really feel like it. After their Sensei had came and fell for it, they went up to the roof for introductions where they learnt that their sensei was named Kakashi Hatake. Karite recognised that name as he'd heard his father mention it two to three times once before, and that Kakashi was a type of family friend due to his relation with Obito Uchiha who was his father's best friend at the time. When he mentioned this fact to Kakashi, both he and Sasuke were blown away, as Sasuke knew that touching on the topic of his folks was very sensitive and he only ever rarely brought it up whilst Kakashi was surprised for well....obvious reasons, one of which being the mention of Obito and also he had no idea that Karite's parents had him to even begin with seeing as they were close friends. After passing the dreaded bell test, Karite, Sasuke and Naruto went on dreaded D-ranks before going on a C-rank that would change everything.... Land of Waves ARC During this mission, Karite, Sasuke and Naruto were tasked with protecting Tazuna who was a bridge builder in the land of waves. During their trip, they were ambushed by The Demon brothers from the Hidden Mist village. The fight was though but the team pulled through, with Karite launching a surprise Fire ball jutsu from behind. Moving onwards, with their mission they reached their destination, however, this was the first time they got the feel of a real life or death fight with the Demon Zabuza. Thanks to their extensive teamwork, Team 7 managed to pull though and beat Zabuza. However, they encountered another ninja by the name of Haku who was later determined to be Zabuza's assistant. Haku, had an Ice Kekki genkai and trapped the Genin within a jutsu called crystal ice mirrors
