  • Jarik Vandron was a near-Human Jedi born to Jedi Master Fay and an unknown Jedi Master in 36 BBY. Raised by the Jedi Order, Vandron became a padawan under Garen Muln, and would serve as Jedi Commander during the Clone Wars. Surviving Order 66, Jarik fled to his homeworld where he exiled himself from Palpatine's new Galactic Empire. Several years into his exile, Vandron began a career as a bounty hunter and smuggler in the Outer Rim for Talon Karrde. Slowly, but surely, he gained a reputation and drew the attention of the Rebellion. Hired on, Jarik took up several bounties on Imperial officers, and slowly was given the rank of general in the Rebel Alliance. After the defeat of the Palpatine and his many clones, Vandron began to unite the smugglers of the galaxy with the assistance from Talon Karrde and Mara Jade. The latter whom would later bring to the Jedi Praxeum where he once again became a Jedi. With the establishment of the New Republic, Jarik Vandron would serve as a Jedi Master in Luke Skywalker's New Jedi Order. He would train, in some way, every student at the Luke's Jedi Praxeum. Personally he trained those such as Brejden Vor, Cilghal, Kenth Hamner, and Lowbacca. With the Order, Jarik helped lead the New Republic against the Yuuzhan Vong fighting in such battles as Fondor, Coruscant, Mrkyr, and the Vong's final defeat. With the Galactic Alliance now heading the galaxy, Vandron would continue to serve the Jedi Order on the Master's Council and High Council until the Second Galactic Civil War. During the Second Galactic Civil War Jedi Vandron would serve as a diplomat until things turned hostile and he became the only Force-user to defect to the Confederation. Sadly, he fought for what he believed no matter what the consequences, even trying to convert others to his cause (though failing save a few apprentices). Finally, the Jedi Order saw reason and formed the Jedi Coalition and Jarik once again approached his former allies and became a mediator between the Jedi and Corellia. Once the galaxy finally rid itself of Darth Caedus, things began to put themselves back together. Jarik was accepted back into the Jedi and served them for a few years before retiring to the Aing Tii. Years later he would again appear fighting in the Sith-Imperial War. Jarik would come to the Jedi's aide during the massacre at Ossus and helped them get safely to the Hidden Temple. From there, he would aide Cade Skywalker on his crusade against Darth Krayt.
