  • Old House parlor
rdfs:comment
  • The Old House parlor was the main area of congregation for residents staying at the house. Directly in front of the entrance was a staircase leading to the second floor hallway. Facing inward and to the left of the staircase was the egress into the parlour. Behind the staircase was a descending set of steps leading down into the cellar. On the opposite side of the room was a doorway leading into a study. In 1967, Barnabas Collins required little furnishings for the parlour, and aside from a few strategically placed candelabra, the parlour appeared rather Spartan.

In the wall opposite the hallway was a bookcase which served as a door to a secret room where Barnabas sometimes kept his coffin.
