  • The first series built was the Export series, followed by the Universal series. In 1969, 1500 tractors were sold to Cuba for the sugar fields, with the GM4 and Export models being sold. In 1978, Goldoni France was set up, followed by an agreement in 1980 for Goldoni tractors to be built in the Soviet Union, now Georgia, by Saktraktori. The Compact series was introduced in 1982, and a licensing agreement with China was signed in 1984 for the production and distribution of the Transcar, Universal and the 800 and 900 series. Goldoni not only builds tractors under their own name for sale around the world, but they also both license to and build for other companies. Goldoni has been a long-time supplier to John Deere (since 1986), has supplied to Hakotrac, and in 2006 signed a new agreement with BCS Group to build tractors under the BCS, Ferrari (tractor) and Pasquali brands. In addition, Goldoni licenses its products, and sometimes its name to other manufacturers, such as AH - Goldoni of Spain, JIROFT, OSTMCO and O.T.M.CO of Iran, Saktraktori of Georgia and Biltor Goldoni of Turkey. Some were sold as Itma Goldoni. In 2014, YTO of China and Goldoni announced an agreement where YTO would assemble Goldoni SKD units in China under the YTO-Goldoni brand. Goldoni met with financial difficulties in 2015, and shut down production, at least temporarily. In 2015 Foton Lovol purchased of Goldoni, with plans to restart production, and to use Goldoni as a spring-board for Foton Lovol into the European market.
