This monster uses Echolocation to seek out its targets. Bat Mutant often assists Gorgom's High Priests and any fellow Gorgom Mutants. Shadow Moon then had Bat Mutant help Darom in searching for Kamen Rider Black's body. When it came to the final conflict, Whale Mutant used its sonic attack to throw off Bat Mutant's radar who then crashed into Darom. Bat Mutant was then hit by Whale Mutant's sticky foam. After Darom's destruction, Bat Mutant escapes to inform Shadow Moon of this. Bat Mutant then succumbs to his injuries and dies.
