She was eventually revived along with the other victims of the Basilisk with a draught made with Mandrake roots. In her seventh year, Penelope was made Head Girl while Percy was made Head Boy. However, by that time they had broken up and their time together was very tense until their graduation from Hogwarts. After graduation, Penelope began working as a journalist for the Daily Prophet, developing a good reputation as she covered many events in the Second Wizarding War. However, being a Muggle-born, Penelope went into hiding in France after the Ministry fell to Lord Voldemort. After the end of the war, Penelope personally wrote about Percy Weasley's heroics in breaking Muggle-borns out of Azkaban and the two eventually reconnected, marrying at the turn of the century and having two children; Molly and Lucy. Penelope later became the godmother of Oliver and Katie Wood's daughter; Evie.
