Both sides can use two Pokemon each and the battle is over when one sides Pokemon can no longer battle. Additionally, only the challenger can make substitutions. Kyle: To get there, we have to travel through Lumiose City. Maria: Then can we meet Professor Sycamore? Jon: Yeah.
