  • Dorothy Mary Rutherford Holman (née Anderson) (10 May 1893 - 17 August 1976) was a Labour Party politician. Born in Basutoland, she was the daughter of a Scottish father (George Rutherford Anderson) and an Australian mother (Mathilda Turner née McNeel). She moved to London and in May 1918 she married Percy Holman (1891-1978). Her husband was active in the Labour Party as a member of Middlesex County Council and stood for election to parliament on several occasions. He was MP for Bethnal Green South West 1945-50 and Bethnal Green 1950-66.
