  • In addition to all of this, he worked on the syndicated Flash Gordon newspaper strip during the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. In the 1980s, he became involved in television animation working as a layout artist on various series, but most notably He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, and as a story director for Pound Puppies and Jonny Quest. While at DC, he contributed pencil art to their adaptation of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. Estrada died on 1 May 2009 , after a long battle with cancer. [1]
