He played Tier II Junior "A" with the Saskatoon Olympics in 1971-72 and then with the major junior Saskatoon Blades from 1972 to 1975. Arndt also represented Canada at the 1975 World Junior Championship. Arndt only played three seasons in the pros, split between the WHA and the minor pros. In his WHA career he scored 16 goals and 23 assists in 120 games. He retired in 1978.
