abstract
  • The House of Dezendyan Navy was the space defence fleet of the House of Dezendyan, and defended Dezendyan Corporation space facilities from pirate, criminal and mercenary attacks. It was a very large navy for a private navy, equivalent to the size of a navy owned by some governments in the N'Akkiarl Galaxy. During the Rebellion against the Ingzan-Bregaran Empire and concurrent Dezendyan-Vás Feud and beyond the navy was part of the space forces of the Imperial Tripartite Alliance and commonly fought with its Imperial Navy and N'Akkiarlian Navy allies. A significant portion of the navy's forces were stationed in the Dezendyan system, where Dezendyan 1, HQ of the Dezendyan was found and one its largest shipyards was found, Dezendyan Shipyard. There were Dezendyan forces found through-out the galaxy, as the corporation had trade outposts through-out the galaxy, many of the outposts in the Border Planets and Galactic Rim regions of the used out-of-date and obsolete ships and weaponry, as it was believed the systems of these regions would be to poor to be able to mount any sort of attack against them. This made them easy targets for pirates which operated in this area, forcing the company to increase the defences of the outposts.
