  • "Slag" is the term for the damage you deal to an opponent before they KO you and the score is evened up again (stock-wise). For example, a game starts with two players at 3 stocks each. Player 1 KOs player 2, so now P1 is leading in stock. P2 then KOs P1, but not before P1 deals 31% damage to P2. While the stocks are evened up at 2 each, P2 is "losing" by 31% (a score that could be written as 2-2 0%-31%). P1 has earned 31% of slag.
  • Maybe Slag enjoys his job too much - after all, a more sensitive Autobot might regret the waste involved in reducing an enemy to a smoldering pool of liquid metal. Not Slag. If his metal hide could take the heat, Slag would swim in the puddle to celebrate. In dinosaur mode, Slag can spew from his mouth a bolt of 3,000 degrees Celsius flame up to 80 feet (25 m) 2 degrees to left. He possesses enormous strength and can shatter a brick building with a single blow from his armored head. His horns can also shoot high powered lasers. In robot mode he carries a high-energy laser rifle, anenergo sword and a rocket poom. Slag's biggest weakness is his over-aggressive behavior, which can cause problems relating with other Autobots. He is also noticed for being the only Dinobot who would dare argue with the leader Grimlock over his commands (ironically, he is usually seen as the group's second in command). He joined the Autobots in the cartoon and comics in their first year (1984), but his toy wasn't released until 1985.
