  • Jegura
rdfs:comment
  • Jegura was a cactus whose juices were used for medicinal purposes. Applied to the skin, it caused a deep numbing effect which was so powerful it could only be applied once a day. Too much of the juice could cause the heart and lungs to fail. The name was derived from the Seven Cities (Bisbrha and Debrahl) language. It is unclear if the Jegura cactus was related to the Weeping Jegurra cactus or possibly synonymous with it.
