  • The Porsche Carrera GT is a mid-engined supercar built by Porsche. It is powered by a modified V10 originally intended for a Le Mans prototype as Porsche had wanted to make a Le Mans racing car.
  • The car had V10 engine and Clarkson described it as biblical performance, despite him being a Ferrari lover but he thought the styling was so brilliant. It isn't a good car for handling but he thought it was mind-blowingly good.
  • Porsche Carrera GT występuje w Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005).
  • The Porsche Carrera GT is a Hot Wheels casting based on the production vehicle of the same name. While the die-cast model debuted in the 2006 First Editions, the full size production vehicle was first revealed as a concept at the 2001 Paris Auto Salon. The vehicle was extremely well received, and was given a green light for production. The production version of the Porsche Carrera GT debuted at the 2003 Geneva Auto Show. The production version retained the same stunning lines as the concept vehicle, and was motivated by a racebred V-10 engine producing over 600 hp. This combined with a relatively low weight propelled the Porsche Carrera GT from 0 to 60 mph in well under 4 seconds. Porsche produced approximately 1300 of the Carrera GT during its four year production run.
  • The Porsche Carrera GT is the successor of the Porsche 911 GT1 Straßenversion. The concept of the car was unveiled in 2000. Sportscar international named the Carrera GT number one on its list of top 10 sportscars of the 2000s, and number 8 on top 10 sportscars of all time. The car itself is powered by a 5.7L V10 engine. The V10 was a unit secretly built by Porsche for the Footwork Formula One team in 1992, but later shelved. The engine was resurrected for the Le Mans prototype and increased in size to 5.7 litres.

Porsche originally planned to produce 1,500 but the plan was discontinued in 2006 due to new airbag regulations in the United States. Its successor is the Porsche 918 Spyder (2013-2015).
  • The Porsche Carrera GT is a mid-engined supercar built by Porsche. It is powered by a modified V10 originally intended for a Le Mans prototype as Porsche had wanted to make a Le Mans racing car.

This combined with a relatively low weight propelled the Porsche Carrera GT from 0 to 60 mph in well under 4 seconds. Porsche produced approximately 1300 of the Carrera GT during its four year production run. The Hot Wheels version first debuted in Silver with both Open Hole 5 Spokes and Faster Than Ever wheels. The silver First Edition was quickly followed by a yellow repaint with Open Hole 5 Spokes. The casting was part of the Hot Wheels Exotics 5-Pack in 2007 before returning to the Hot Wheels mainline as part of the 2008 Team: Exotics and as part of the 2016 HW Exotics. Unlike the full scale model, the Hot Wheels version of the Porsche Carrera GT has been relatively easy to find, and relatively inexpensive, allowing collectors the chance to own one of Porsche's highest performing and most exclusive models.
