The Kestora and all of the revived beings inside the Red Star were subsequently annihilated.

Without a means for the population to be kept steady, Velika and Angonce released nano-genes into the air to force-evolve every being to be able to reproduce, and in case the population got out of hand, built Marrendar to cull a percentage of the population in order to have it manageable for Mata Nui's systems.
