- The Giant Octopus was the disguise of Ventosa.
- Dating back to the 15th century, their have been reports of a colossal, octupus like mollusks, found in large bodies of salt water such as bays and oceans. As mysterious as this may sound, in 2004 the giant squid was discovered, which explains these sightings.
- The Giant Octopus is simply a gigantic dull-red colored octopus with yellow eyes and small black pupils.
- A Giant Octopus appears in the "Elmo the Musical" segment, "Sea Captain the Musical." Appearing by the Bermuda Octagon, the octopus halts Captain Elmo's ship in their search for Moby Pink. He prevents them from going any further until they defeat him in a game of ping-pong. He's confident he will win, claiming there's no beating eight (arms). However, when Elmo serves, his eight tentacles get wrapped up together and he begins to sink.
- The Giant Octopus was seen in the Insect Pit in the 2013 Kenny and the Lost World (released in March 2013), and it serves as an antagonist with the other Pit Creatures.
* One was seen coming out of the chasm wall and it grabs Kenny and Nick Mayard as it threatens to crush them and eat them as Jimmy (Jamie Bell) gets a tommy gun and shoots off its tentacles and in the head. Trivia ________________________________________________________
