Now I know for sure that I am a great trainer, just as Lance said I was. Joel: I think that was already the case. Amy: Well, I'm glad I got to travel with you guys. I got to see more of the world. Jigglypuff: (happily) Jigglypuff. Comfey: (happily) Comfey-fey. Amy: And I especially got to meet you, Joel. (blushing) You're probably the best thing that's ever happened to me. Polly: What's so funny, Sugar? Sugar: I knew Amy liked Joel! (grins) Polly: Oh yeah. (giggles) Um, say, Sugar? Sugar: Yeah, Polly? Polly: Did you tell the others about you wanting to be a Pokémon Coordinator yet? Sugar: No, but I'm planning to. Amy: So, have you decided what you're going to do now, Caber? Caber: Well... I'd like to explore the other regions. Like Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, and maybe Alola someday. Amy: Oh, you'll love it in Alola. I know my mom and I did. (smiles) But you'll need plenty of sunscreen. Caber: (chuckles) I'll remember that. What about you, Joel? Have you thought about what you wanna do? Joel: Well, to be honest, no. Caber: No? Amy: Whaddaya mean, Joel? Joel: Well, I never thought of advancing my career. Amy: How come? (pause) It's not me, is it? Joel: Oh no, no, no, no, no! I... (sighs) I don't know. Caber: Joel, as I told you, we're behind you all the way, no matter what you decide to do. Amy: Do you wanna talk about it? Chansey: (concerned) Chansey? Joel: Okay. Joel: So, I don't know whether to continue travelling with you guys or go to Pokémon Doctor School. Caber: Have you talked about this with your parents? Joel: No. (pause) But maybe it'd help if I did. Mrs. James: Hello? (sees Joel) Oh, hello, Joel. So good to hear from you again, dear. Joel: Hi, Mom. Amy: Hi, Mrs. James. Mrs. James: Oh hello again, Amy. Hope you've been helping to keep my baby boy out of trouble. Joel: (blushes) Mom... Joel: Anyway, Mom, I was hoping you and Dad could help me with something. Mrs. James: Of course. Joel: The thing, I'd really like to go to Pokémon School with Amy, but I don't wanna stop travelling with my friends. Mrs. James: I see. Amy: Is there anything you could suggest, Mrs. James? Mrs. James: Well I suppose it all depends on how much Joel knows about Pokémon medicine. Amy: Okay. Mrs. James: (to Joel) Tell me, honey. Have there been anytime when you've had to use the skills you have to help a Pokémon? Joel: Um.... Chansey: (supportive) Chansey... Joel: Well, there was one time when I had to help Sugar's Pichu when he had one of these colds Electric-types are sometimes known to get. But that wasn't life-threatening of course. Mrs. James: Well that's good to know. But Joel, what do you think'll happen if there comes a time when a Pokémon is sick or injured in anyway, and you won't be able to help it? Joel: No. Mrs. James: That could be another reason for you to go to School. But I guess it's up to you, dear. Joel: I know what I wanna do. Amy and Mrs. James: (in unison) Yes? Joel: I'm gonna go. Amy: (excited) Really? Mrs. James: You are? Joel: Yep. Mrs. James: Oh Joel, I'm so proud of you! And if and whenever you see your friends again, you and Amy'll be much better prepared for any Pokémon emergency. Joel: Thanks mom. Big Faye: So, I hear Joel has something he and Amy wanna tell us? Caber: Apparently so. Sugar: C'mon, tell us, Joel! Polly: Oh yes, please! Joel: I'm going to Pokémon Doctor School. Sugar: Ooooh! Joel: And I'll be going with Amy. (blushes) Amy: (smiles, blushes) Yep. Sugar: Ooo-ooh! Caber: Well I for one am happy for you two. Sugar: Me too! Polly: Me three. Big Faye: We're behind you all the way, Joel. You too, Amy. Amy: (giggles) Thanks, Big Faye. And I'm glad I got to know you as well. Joel: Me too. Y'know, Big Faye, you may be bigger than most, but you have an equally big heart. Big Faye: Thanks, Joel. Caber: I think Charizard wants to apologize for burning you that time you scared Sugar. Joel: Apology accepted, Charizard. Joel: And you, Sugar. You're one of the craziest girls I know, but you're a good friend. Sugar: (grins) Aw, shucks. Joel: And Polly, you're definitely the sweetest little girl I know. Polly: (blushes) Thanks, Joel. Joel: And Caber, thanks. Caber: For what? Joel: For being my best friend. I definitely learned a lot from traveling with you. Caber: No problem, dude. Sugar: Yaaaay! Polly: (whispers) C'mon, Sugar, tell em what you wanna do. Sugar: (remembers) Oh right. (to everyone) Guess what? Everyone: What? Sugar: I'm gonna be a Pokémon Coordinator! (throws another party bomb) Amy: Oh that's wonderful, Sugar! Caber: (to Sugar) Bet I can guess who inspired you. Joel: Well, you have my support, Sugar. Amy: Mine too. Polly: You can bet I'll be cheering for you, Sugar. Big Faye: Me too. Caber: And you have my support as well, Sugar. Sugar: Really? Caber: You cheered for me; the least I can do is help you in anyway I can. Sugar: Thanks, Caber. Caber: And I think I may know where we can go so you can start - in the Hoenn region. Sugar: (smiles) Okay! Big Faye: I'm glad my parents arranged this ship for us. Polly: Yeah, this is great. Huh, Sugar? Sugar: Sure is. (grins) Caber: So you two still glad you decided to travel with us? Joel: Yup! Amy: Mm-hmm! I've just got one question. How's Big Faye gonna fit on that ship? Amy: Ask a silly question... Joel: Get a silly answer. Joel: Well... I guess this is goodbye. Caber: Yeah. Maybe we'll see each other again someday. (pause) But in the meantime, good luck with Pokémon Doctor School. (winks) Joel: (smiles gratefully) Thanks, buddy. Amy: Good luck with your Pokémon Contests, Sugar. Sugar: Thanks, Amy. Sugar: Bye! Caber: Take care of yourselves! Polly: See ya! Sugar: I think they'll be just fine. Polly: Yeah. Caber: Well... I think once we get to Hoenn, we should figure out what Pokémon you'll wanna use for your Pokémon Contests, Sugar. Sugar: Yeah. Whaddaya think Cupcake? Wanna participate in Contests? Cupcake: (nods) Ivysaur! Polly: This'll be fun. Doncha think so, Big Faye? Big Faye: (drowsily) Wake me when we get to Hoenn, okay? Caber: Maybe we'll see and catch new Pokémon while we're in Hoenn. Polly: That'll be great. More friends for us. Togepi: Toge-toge. Sugar: Yeah, that definitely sounds neat. Caber: And Charizard and I'll definitely help in anyway we can to help prepare you for your Contests, Sugar.
