His first nomination came in 1979 for the "Murder on the Flip Side" episode of The Eddie Capra Mysteries, which featured Star Trek: Deep Space Nine recurring actor Andrew Robinson. His second nomination for the final episode of NBC's drama series Blacke's Magic, entitled "Wax Poetic". One of the guest stars in this episode was DS9's Rene Auberjonois. TNG is Sheldon's last television project. He went on to become a video game designer, developing such titles as Ripley's Believe it or Not!: The Riddle of Master Lu, Dark Side of the Moon, Wild Wild West: The Steel Assassin, and Uru: Ages Beyond Myst (featuring the voice of David Ogden Stiers). He more recently designed several games based on licensed works of author Agatha Christie for The Adventure Company. These games have featured voice-over work by such actors as Ian Abercrombie, Greg Ellis, and Carolyn Seymour. Sheldon has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in stage directing from Boston University and a Master of Fine Arts degree in film direction from the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Telecommunications at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
