By marrying a Leaf shinobi and studying their medical ninjutsu, this boosted the good relations between Kusa and Konoha, the village then decided to name Jin as one the Head Ninja's of the village. One day a rumor was going around the village about a new group known as the Jashin Cult and their vile methods. Jin and his fathers figured it was them behind the murders and disappearances in the village so they each began to try to figure out their motives and how to stop them. What they discovered was the cult trying to create immortal members, and the revival of Jashin. However, word spread that Jin and his father were working on ways to destroy the cult, and one night as Jin was walking back to his home he heard screams coming from his house. He quickly ran to his home to find his wife and his father had been brutally murdered. Then from a puddle of blood a woman in a blood drenched cloak appeared and told Jin that he cannot stop them and that they will drown the world in blood and despair. The woman that had emerged was a Jashin High Priestess named Hisako Akane. Jin let out a loud yell of anger and charged towards her, but she dissipated, her voice could be heard laughing as she disappeared. Jin heard a weeping sound from under the boards of his home and his son Nobunaga was there. It then that Jin swore to make it his mission to destroy the Jashin Cult and prevent Jashin from being revived. After many years of learning how to fight demonic entities and training his son to become able to fight as well, he decided to form a group of demon hunters known as Expel to fight Jashinists in secret. Meanwhile, just seeming like a medical ninja of Kusa. One night he was outside looking at the stars when he heard a baby crying, Jin discovered a baby boy by a river, the baby however was unusual in that it had snow-white hair one green eye and the other a byakugan and weird marking on each hand. Jin decided to take in the child who had it's name on the cloth that he was found in, and his name was Saito Otsutsuki, who proved to be a prodigy in medical ninjutsu, taijutsu, and ninjutsu. Then a year later he took in another child named Hajikata Uchiha who Saito found him wounded on the road. Jin then inducted them into his order and started to train them as well. One day an unsuspecting large scale attack by Gin Sato occured, the objective was to destroy Kusa and as the First Kusakage he stood up against the invaders. A large battle unfolded, which also led to a battle between Jin Hatake and Gin Sato unfolded. The battle was long, and Jin fought valiantly but was ultimately defeated by Gin Sato. Aizen Kuwabara and Ino Uzumaki fought off a weakened Gin, and he was forced to retreat. After his final goodbyes he named Hajikata as the 2nd Kusakage and passed away peacefully.
