| abstract | - The Peas of Power are part of an old Gorg legend. According to the story a Gorg prince has to grow his bride by planting the Peas of Power. The peas will grow into a plant overnight and will turn into a Gorg princess when the first rays of dawn hit them. The myth is pure fiction and not true. Junior Gorg doesn't realize that it is just a story until after he traded the Gorgs' castle for Peas of Power in the Fraggle Rock episode "Junior Sells the Farm." Pa Gorg later explains to Junior that Gorg princesses don't actually grow from peas. The Peas of Power should not be confused with the obviously fake Broccoli of Power.
