| abstract | - A republic cruiser came out of hyperspace. The ship was heavily damaged, plasma flying around space. It is almost completely cross-sectioned showing the decks themselves. The command bridge was buzzing with officers talking and trying to communicate to the Republic Command that they were taking refuge in the unknown of space. The captain, Admiral Terrel Mos-Gar, was looking out the window to the damaged ship. It had been a while before the Dove had been in a battle. The Empire had once again struck a Republic ship. "Admiral," said the Pilot, Han Solo DIV. The admiral walked up to him, she asked, "Yes?" "A ship is coming through hyperspace, from further in the unknown regions," he replied. "Are our shields fixed yet?" "I'm afraid not," the engineer, Kratti, replied. "Retreat to Outer Rim," she commanded. The power shut down. Everyone was in pure darkness. This wasn't ordinary. "Kratti!" yelled Terrel in anger. "I... I didn't do anything," Kratti said to save his skin. The power soon came up, when Admiral Mos-Gar looked out the window, the entire ship, other than the bridge was gone. At the front of it, a ship, about the size of the Dove, was facing them. "What is that?" the Admiral rhetorically asked. The mysterious ship started sending their own starfighters. The fighters closely resembled the mother ship, but much smaller. They started shooting. "Get to the escape pods!" she yelled. The crew started running to the back of the room where the escape pods were. It went fast and struggling. Han Solo got into one of the pods he had a droid come in to launch it when the pod was full. The Admiral and Kratti were going to go to go in the pod when the droid locked them out when it figured the ship was going to explode before they could get in. "R6!" yelled Han, "What the tuc are you doing?" The droid beeped, the pod launched along with the others. They saw the destruction of the ships, and the starfighters retreated back to their ship. Out of the two-thousand inhabitants on the Dove, only twelve survived the two attacks. The escape pods found their way to the closest planet, where the inhabitants had tradeships coming in and out. The Republic lost it's flagship.
