Dot was very upset. She said "That's not fair! You can't ground me, Daddy!" Dot went to her mother, Queen Aurelia, and told her that the punishment was unfair. Queen Aurelia told Dot that King Malcolm was in charge when she was at work and that the punishment was no karate tournament or seeing anyone outside her family. Dot became very angry. She packed her stuff and told King Malcolm "You're as evil as King Salazar!" and then she ran away from home.
