He was given the epithet The Second Da Vinci (再ダビンチ, Sai Dabinchi) due to very high IQ and because he makes weapons of great destructive power for the Revolutionary Army. Aside from the usual crimes that brought him such big bounty, he is also targeted for the Massacre of the Brains, where he killed fifty scientists who were experimenting on humans and animals. When he got caught, the Marines were beating him and after a while he got an amnesia from constant hits in the heads and he forgot about his parents and everything he had and known about. On the Beer Island he mastered many fighting styles and he even once managed to activate the Haoshoku Haki. Right now he is searching for any of the tree Admiral's because they are the ones who hold the information on the memories that he lost.
