  • The Gauss Rifle (Gauss Gun in Shadow of Chernobyl), officially known as Item 62 or Project 62, is a weapon created by researchers and weapon smiths within the Zone. It is featured in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. A special variant of the weapon, the EM1 Rifle, only appears in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky.
  • Gauss rifles are hand-held weapons utilizing electromagnetic coils to propel metal slugs at extremely high velocities. While in Fallout 2 the Gauss rifle uses the Small Guns skill, it uses the Energy Weapons skill in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.
  • Unlocked by: Graphene
  • The Gauss Rifle is the premiere ballistic weapon used by the Clan and Inner Sphere. Introduced in Technical Readout 2750 the Gauss Rifle is a long range, heavy hitting weapon capable of decapitating a 'Mech in one shot.
  • The Gauss Rifle fires a very heavy piece of metal at very high velocity. This means high impact damage, the shells however, do not explode, meaning no splash damage. At long distances the Gauss Rifle is easily the best weapon to use. Being able to travel faster then both the Javelin Missile and the PPC cannon, the Gauss Rifle was built for long range engagements. This long range domination means nothing at close range, slow reload times make it unsuitable for Mechs that can fight back at close ranges. The Gauss Rifle does possess a tracking ability, however it is only effective over medium to long ranges. It is not seen in sets more then 2 per Mech and only 1 on the Hackman Scout Mech.
  • Gauss Rifle is a Rifle style. Rifle weapons with the Gauss Rifle style: * Veridium-Core G.I.'s Rifle * Veridium-Core Commander's Rifle
  • The Gauss Rifle is a long-ranged weapon that appears in Crysis, Crysis Warhead, Crysis 2, and Crysis 3. In each new game different iterations of this gun appear .
  • The Gauss Rifle is a special weapon with 20 ammo in a clip, and 60 ammo in stock. Its special attack is a burst *3 of bullets. If you played Fallout 2 you should know this gun. It's a deadly long-range rifle. * Caliber: 2 mm * Kickback: 9 * Max. Kickback: 20 * Damage: 250 * Fire Rate: 5 shots/sec
  • Gauss rifles are often issued to government or security forces. Their possession/use is forbidden or heavily regulated in several jurisdictions because of their stealth capabilities.
  • The Gauss Rifle is a Rifle weapon in S4 League. The Gauss Rifle has 30 rounds within it, but is rather strong at any range, provided you are experienced enough to compensate for the vertical spread.
