The event paid tribute to CMLL founder Salvador Lutteroth who is always honored at Dos Leyendas and to Ángel Blanco, grandfather of current CMLL wrestler Höruz. The main event of the show was a Tag team Lucha de Apuesta match with both teams risking their hair on the outcome of the match. The father / Son team of Brazo de Plata and Máximo faced off against El Terrible and El Texano, Jr. In the semi-main event Averno defended the NWA World Historic Middleweight Championship against his rival Máscara Dorada.
