  • 4′33″ (Four minutes, thirty-three seconds) is a composition by American avant-garde composer John Cage (1912–1992). It consists of 4′33″ of nothing but the sounds of the Orchestra picking their noses and yawning, the conductor farting, members getting up to go to the toilet to be sick or ask for their money back and generally the sound of how pointless it is to have a full orchestra sit there and do nothing for four and a half minutes and have the cheek to call it art!
