It seems to have been built on ancient lagoon which was filled in by gravel and dirt at the hands of humans. The city rises up, away from the statue.

Tunnels also lead out from the city and to the nearby coast. Here live tamed orange bears. These animals are venerated. They live excellent lives, and the people subsist on their milk, and their physical strength, and wear their skins as cloaks.
