  • Handanael (Sugarese: City Given by God) is the capital, and most-populous city of Sugar Isle. Sugar Isle is the second-largest Isle of the Sayelic Great-Sea, just behind Henkenne. Handanel was finded more than 3,000 years ago by Kneypish followers of Stayeen Griss Grolkees, the Orange Bear of War. The Faith of the Orange Bear seems to have been ancient even then. It's theorized that the faith originates from 30,000 years ago, perhaps being a competing faith with the similarly-ancient Faith of the Deer King. Handanel is home to a large bronze statue of Stayeen Griss Grolkees. The city is surrounded on all sides by green hills, rocky and steep. It seems to have been built on ancient lagoon which was filled in by gravel and dirt at the hands of humans. The city rises up, away from the statue.

Tunnels also lead out from the city and to the nearby coast. Here live tamed orange bears. These animals are venerated. They live excellent lives, and the people subsist on their milk, and their physical strength, and wear their skins as cloaks.
