In 1991 she co-hosted the Miss Universe Pageant on television. During her time in the United States she also appeared in the daily soap Santa Barbara beside her appearance on Star Trek. Grudt is spokesperson for Coffee Slender, Garnier Nutrisse, and Garnier UltraLift and worked previously for Pierre Cardin, Oil of Olay, Vidal Sassoon, Juicy Fruit, and Gillette. She is married to Brody Bittrick and the couple has two children.

- Grudt was born in Stjørdal, Nord-Trøndelag, Norway. She was the winner of the 1990 Miss Universe pageant, and the first winner of that competition for Norway. In 1991 she co-hosted the Miss Universe Pageant on television. During her time in the United States she also appeared in the daily soap Santa Barbara beside her appearance on Star Trek. Grudt made several appearances in Norwegian talk shows including Først & sist (2000 and 2005), Senkveld med Thomas og Harald (2004 and 2005), God kveld Norge (2007), and Showman (2010 and 2011), is hosting the live show Miss Norway since 2000, participated in Dancing with the Stars, and hosted Norways Next Topmodel in 2011. She is also working as editor of the Norwegian magazine Ditt Bryllup (Your Wedding) since 1996. Grudt is spokesperson for Coffee Slender, Garnier Nutrisse, and Garnier UltraLift and worked previously for Pierre Cardin, Oil of Olay, Vidal Sassoon, Juicy Fruit, and Gillette.
