Having been forced to fight for his life against the Dark Masters' force, Orgemon is injured as the result of the meteor Etemon returned in & is found by Mimi Tachikawa & Jou Kido. Though Orgemon expected them to kill him, he is shocked when they tended to his injuries as he (somewhat) agrees to join them in their journey. He wanted to help against MetalEtemon, but Mimi stopped him because he was still too badly injured & this led to MetalEtemon trying to blast Mimi & SaberLeomon taking the attack for her. Before Leomon died of his wounds, the two old enemies made peace & Orgemon decides to help the Digirangers to for his rival's sake. When Mimi showed up to help against Piemon, Orgemon was part of her army & helped defeat the Evilmon, leaving with the other digimon once Piemon was destroyed. Following the defeat of Apocalymon & the recreation of the Digital World, Orgemon takes his leave to await the day that he & Leomon could resume their rivalry. Orgemon would later be referenced in the first episode of Bouken Sentai Digiranger 02, when Takeru & Hikari commented that their teacher looked like him. He would also appear in the epilogue of the final episode, where Jou was teaching his son how to treat Digimon by using Orgemon as an example (referencing his treating of Orgemon for his injury in Bouken Sentai Digiranger).
