It took place at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace on November 7 2010. Nico Hülkenberg took his first pole position in a wet qualifying, which was often delayed. The race was won by Red Bull-Renault driver Sebastian Vettel with Mark Webber for Red Bull-Renault in second and Fernando Alonso of Ferrari in third. Polesitter Hülkenberg finished eighth. The Championship situation was Alonso in first with 246 points, Webber eight behind on 238, Vettel was on 231 and Lewis Hamilton, who finished fourth, was 24 points behind Alonso with 222 points. This was the first time four drivers entered the final race was Championship victory possible. Red Bull-Renault wrapped up the Constructors' Championship to win it for the first time.
