| abstract | - The Monster High Diaries book series, written by Nessi Monstrata, is an new book series attached to Monster High. It was first heard of on October 11 2014 through a listing of future books published by Hachette Book Group. Much like the Ghoulfriends book series, Monster High Diaries is aimed at middle-grade students, and is set in the more familiar Monster High setting that is loosely shared by all other continuities. Rather than a series of interconnected stories like the other book series, Monster High Diaries is a set of stand alone stories, each one focusing on a certain character and an event in their life. The following books are scheduled to be released in 2015 and 2016 1.
