abstract
  • The Thief is a class from Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance. Thieves are known for their stealing and specialty of not getting caught. Like all types of criminals she steal food, jewels, and even gold. Her Evility Thief Skills doubles the stealing rate when stealing. Stat-wise, the Thief is a unit designed around hit-and-run evasion tactics. While she is best with the Gun, higher Tiers have decent ATK as well, addng Bows and Fists as alternative options. Having very low HP, putting the Thief in a close-range battle is generally a bad idea unless her SPD outclasses her enemies. As she is a squishy unit, status ailments such as Poison and Deprave are absolutely devastating for a class like the Thief; and should be watched for. The Thief, given her name, is designed around stealing Items, and her Evility set and Weapon Masteries reflect this. While other characters have a 50% chance at best to steal anything, the Thief's Innate Evility bumps this to 99%. This makes her the only character that can steal from high-levelled enemies reliably.
