  • Kinen (Koten)
rdfs:comment
  • Kinen was a Four Temples monk and the custodian of Koten, but the name meaned "Memory", and was an obvious pseudonym. No one knew his true name, and the man never spoke of his life before he came to Koten. He claimed this was because he pushed those memories from his mind to make room for more stories. Kinen seemed almost out of place being calm, soft-spoken and little, and having no scars or debilitating injuries common to Crab monks. Despite this fact, Crab veterans still treated him with great respect for if no one else he would at least remember them. It was said that if Kinen could not recall a story of a hero then that hero never existed.
