Through a simple release of their chakra, they are capable of synchronizing it with the surrounding environment in order to visualize everything that possesses some sort of life to it. Entire environments, human beings, and even monsters are not exempt from the capabilities that the Tenchigodō possess. Furthermore, the Tenchigodō possesses the capability to sense a fluctuation within emotional state based on the premise that the users' chakra is in a constant state of balance, and therefore able to view any shifts in this balance. It should be noted that in particular times - such as wartime - the negativity increases to such levels that amateurish practitioners of the technique may be subject to mental breakdowns, which are almost impossible to stop unless they disconnect themselves from the flow of the world. Shuji had experienced this sensation during the Warring States Period.
