  • Why do I sweat so much
rdfs:comment
  • There are two types of excess sweating: Diaphoresis, commonly associated with shock and other medical emergency conditions and Hyperhidrosis, abnormally increased perspiration in excess of that required for regulation of body temperature. Reoccurring Diaphoresis can be an indicator of low blood sugar in diabetics, glandular tumours, infections, or menopause, among other things. If it's none of those, it is most likely Hyperhidrosis, which is thought by most doctors to be either genetic or psychological.

If it is a serious problem to you, there are prescribed ointments, injections and even surgery that can help control sweating.
