In 2365, the Klingon Bird-of-Prey IKS Pagh was conducting undesignated maneuvers in the Pheben system shortly after it rendezvoused with the USS Enterprise-D to pick up exchange officer Commander William T. Riker. (TNG: "A Matter Of Honor" ; DIS: "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad") According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 63) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Stellar Cartography", pp. 27, 30; "Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385”), the Pheben system on the front line of the Klingon Civil War of 2367-68. According to a map of the Klingon Empire – prepared by the Scribe K'Tark for the Klingon High Council in the Year of Kahless 893 (2266} – Pheben was identified as a Klingon star. Pheben, the primary of the Pheben system, was located in the Beta Quadrant on a star chart seen in the Star Trek: Discovery episode "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad" .
