Biography
  • Marc Mitchell is a part-time NASCAR Busch Series driver from Tallahassee, FL. He has competed in four Busch Series and one Craftsman Truck Series event in his career. Both of those races came in 2005, when Mitchell drove a family owned #86 Chevy into the field at Nashville. Mitchell started last and would only improve to 42nd before he crashed out of the event with 77 laps under his belt. Mitchell improved slightly in his other outing at Gateway, where he started 39th. He would then finish 41st after an early engine failure. Mitchell also missed the races at Kentucky and Homestead. Mitchell was supposed to race at Phoenix in 2006 for Keith Coleman Racing, but he crashed in practice. Because KCR did not have a back up car, Mitchell withdrew from the event. Mitchell, though, returned to the sport in 2007, getting a solid ride with CJM Racing at Milwaukee. Starting 31st in the field, Mitchell kept out of trouble the whole race and brought home a series-best 20th place finish. After finishing 37th at Dover for MacDonald Motorsports, Mitchell finished 33rd in his Craftsman Truck Series debut at Talladega. Stats from Racing-Reference.info
